Ingredients:

½ cup Toor dal

1 tbsp ghee

½ tsp mustard seeds

½ tsp cumin seeds

Pinch of hing

1 green chili (slit)

1 chopped tomato
-
1 tbsp jaggery

½ tsp turmeric
-
Salt to taste

Lemon juice & coriander leaves
Instructions:

Wash and pressure cook dal with turmeric and water until soft.

In a pan, heat ghee. Add mustard, cumin, hing, and green chili.

Add chopped tomato and sauté briefly.

Pour in the cooked dal, jaggery, salt, and adjust consistency with water.

Simmer for 5–7 minutes and finish with lemon juice and coriander.
