Brown Chana Curry

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown chana, soaked overnight

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 1 chopped tomato

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • ½ tsp cumin seeds

  • ½ tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves

Instructions:

  1. Pressure cook chana until soft.

  2. Heat oil, sauté cumin and onions until golden.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, and spices.

  4. Cook until oil separates. Add chana and simmer 10 mins.

  5. Garnish with coriander and serve with rice or roti.
