Moong Dal Tadka

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup moong dal

  • 1 tbsp ghee

  • ½ tsp mustard seeds

  • ½ tsp cumin seeds

  • Pinch of hing

  • 1 chopped green chili

  • 1 chopped tomato

  • ½ tsp turmeric

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice & coriander

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and boil dal with turmeric until soft.

  2. In a pan, heat ghee. Add mustard, cumin, hing, and chili.

  3. Add tomato, sauté briefly.

  4. Mix in the cooked dal and salt. Simmer 5–7 mins.

  5. Add lemon juice and coriander before serving.
